Colnago C35s are fugly however they're built up, but if you're going to do it at least go the whole hog and get the matching 5-spoke wheels.
Hmm, that's even uglier, especially with gold bits. Off topic - is "magic link" in the chain used for ease of taking it off without tools or is there any other hidden reasoning?

Sweet mama! That is atrocious.
Why don't you rebuild it geared?
Just got it for the frame, but first time on fixed bike, so kind of enjoying riding it. It's geared too low 39/16, but very light and handles lovely. Might put some aero bars on and see if it would cut as a time trial machine. No need for another road bike.

If you keep your eye on the door/wing mirror area, you can see the movement of an arm before the door opens. Or just give parked cars a 3ft gap and fuck the drivers behind, it's not them who'll get a car door in their face.*
*For posting this advice, Sod's Law will have me smacked in the teeth by a car door within the week.
Shaolin monks' guide to riding in London:
1) Watch parked cars for opening doors as per above
2) Watch slow moving traffic for U turns
3) Overtake rather than undertake
4) Never undertake big vehicles at traffic lights
5) Don't let passing traffic force you too close to the pavement
6) When changing direction - aggressively point the finger towards where you're going
7) When you identify drivers to be old and incapable - expect the unexpectable -
