I’m definitely going to do a tubeless setup - probably gp5000 - they come up way bigger than listed so a 28c is normally 31!

As for finishing kit I’m not sure. The frame cane with a layback fsa slk seat post which is light but probably doesn’t suit my position

So I’ve decided that this bike is just too uncomfortable to ride, so I’m starting something new.

As a fast approach middle age I’ve decided that discs are a must and lightness is more important than aero cos I’m simply not that fast anymore!!

So I’ve bought a cannondale supersix evo himod team - it certainly is light...

The eagle eyed will notice I’m wearing a hexo helmet. It’s super comfortable.

Agreed on all points about gearing. I would say I stuck mainly in 44-15 - despite having other options it is virtually impossible to change gear on the cobbles. IF I ever did it again I would double wrap the bar tape and drop the psi to 30

That’s pretty nice of you! The signage at the end was pretty confusing @modan got lost just after that stupid foot tunnel (about 5km from the finish) and rode an extra 5km.

I rode gravel kings at about 40, thinking that they would lose pressure over the rough stuff. Amazingly they didn’t so my gooch is destroyed. I heard that kristoff rode 25c tubeless which makes zero sense and he inevitably had 3x failures

Hahaha yeah there were some hilarious shunts at the finish line when the Audi riders (Specialized and a Sagan jersey) realised too late that sprinting off the bend meant they needed more space to stop. I went went for the ‘bike friends’ finish instead

Absolutely bonkers! I’m NEVER riding that again! Only 1 mechanical issue. @modan got a puncture on the carrefour 5 star sector and Bryan’s (Sram of course) shifter decided to stop working properly.

CX bikes are always anti, if they aren’t you’re doing it wrong. 😂

I think that is the older version of the condor frame could do either canti or disc.

Also @modan has decided to completely sack off riding a steel bike and (given that he works for them) has a Condor cx bike ready!
