Odd, isn't it? That was pointed out "no ones saying that Iran isn't in the wrong here, but this is about Boris's inability to just admit he was wrong and correct the error", which doesn't seem to be an option.
The glorious Boris, being wrong? Nope, he won't be. Its Irans fault.
I just ended with a "GAH! I'm going to the fucking toilet!"

Sat with a friend tonight who blindly refused to accept Boris was in the wrong. "Iran, not Boris, is in the wrong here. My boy Boris? Nope."
Under the radar Tory - passionate, party committed, mid 30s. Shame really as a sound fellow and good friend, unless news is raised. Then it's shutters down, true blue.
There's talk about the party supporters ageing and becoming redundant, but it's undoubtedly true that there's a hell of a lot of people out there who quietly support the party through thick or thin "as long as it keeps the reds out, that's the main thing"

Turning off Richmond Road into the leisure centre? That's always a bit hairy there. Was driving back into Putney back along that way once, when a lady looked straight at me, then turned her car across the lane in front of me. Only when I screeched to a halt and gave it the "what on earth are you doing??" look, did she realise.
The records line stinks, frankly. Part of my job is auditing records keeping processes (I studied records at uni) and I'm highly dubious about the convenience of them going missing. Especially as said missing records got them off the hook seemingly.
Anytime someone else gets investigated, there'll be a bonfire now.
