Rolling frame for sale!
Large Boardman Road Comp
- I think it's the 2010 model
- Carbon Fork - excellent condition
- Sound frame with one or two cosmetic chips to paint
Wheels
- Front Shimano RS20
- Rear Richey DS Pro
Front has seen less wear than the rear but plenty of life left in both.
Excellent chassis for a project.
Need to get rid.
Looking for £50 collected (Finsbury Park, N4) - I think it's the 2010 model

Sweet - that's good to know.
I'd read in a couple of places that a 9sp mech wouldn't work on 10 sp cassette so good to hear contrary.
My back wheel is 8/9/10 compatible, otherwise I'd think about 11.In which case, I'm on the lookout for 2x10 shifters with internal routing plus a 10sp cassette!
Thanks all for your input.

Right - These have to go.
I'm moving house.Boardman Frame with carbon fork plus 2 wheels - £75 if you can take the lot.
The wheels would make solid winter commuter wheels.

Hi there, I'm new here, so be nice!
I'm currently riding a 5 year old Boardman Road and after a couple of years of fairly light use I'm going through a bit of a love affair and riding most days.
During the week I commute (road quality variable), I also go out at weekends and do mostly road but some light off road, gravel, tow paths, easy woodland etc.
Coming up to winter I've made the decision to get a disc frame with clearance for wider tyres in order that I have more grip and more stopping power.
I'm building the new one next week (Crosslight Pro 6 F&F, TRP Spyres, and MT55 wheels)
But I'm stuck.
What tyres do I go for?
I'm big (6'5" 16 stone) and ride fairly fast on the road.
I'm used to 23mm.I know wider will be more comfortable over the bumps and offer lower rolling resistance than narrow(for same psi).
I'm currently thinking Marathon Plus.
But how wide?
28?
32?
38!?!Any experience with the Marathons, or been through a similar width dilema?
