Right, I'm all over this - I have invested too much in a specific size of trousers to get any larger.
Was about 64KG when I left London 6 years ago. 6 years of exploring the sheffield ale scene, having a child, and the pandemic saw me reach an unpleasant 73KG about 6 weeks back.
Through calorie counting and upping the exercise a bit (slow 5ks, slightly longer dog walks, inefficient swimming) I got down to 69.5 in about a month. And there I have resolutely stayed for the last 2 weeks, no matter how few calories I consume.
I feel like I can tell my metabolism has slowed down, so need to kick it back up, seemingly through strength training. Not a clue what I'm doing with that, will see what youtube has to offer - can't really be bothered with weights in the house, so bodyweight stuff will have to do.

Any interest in a Men's Zoa Insulated Jacket (Blue, with orange lining), in a small. Brand new, got it in the recent sale also with a code, but was being slightly ambitious that it would fit. Happy to sell for the £130 it was on at, inc some suitably tracked postage.
If not, I shall just return!
This is gone gone gone now!

Any interest in a Two Notes Torpedo Cab M* before I take it to the bay.
All factory reset, with its power supply, and mint.
105GBP posted - that's a chunk cheaper than reverb etc.
*Not a cab M+ - however, if you register it with Two Notes you can do a firmware upgrade that makes it one it seems: https://support.two-notes.com/knowledgebase.php?article=362

I have one and like it a lot. I mean, its not as good as a Moccamaster or a Sage Barista filter machine or anything like that, and it makes a very small amount of coffee, but it looks good and the coffee is decent enough. I prefer a darker roast though.
Ours does most of its work in our spare room when we have guests - whichever parent is not up with their kids can have a quick coffee in bed!
Tbh, the name makes me laugh everytime I think of it, so that's worth 30 quid to me. Aroma Boy!

Update on this - went to pay it for the easy life then felt the righteous anger flow through me as I know the car wasn't there.
I believe I was out of time for the POPLA stuff having missed all the original correspondence from the parking company (or at least, it would make my case worse - there is something to do with you having to act reasonably, and ignoring all the correspondence [or in my case, not keeping my VC5 up to date] is seen as unreasonable).
Spent some time on the MSE forum and then sent a polite rocket to the Co-op CEO email address with some evidence backing up that the car hadn't been there, and low and behold, just received an email saying they have instructed the parking company to cancel the charge and they are satisfied that I had left the car park.
A win!

Had a Moccamaster, now have the sage/breville precision brewer after the Mocca got broken in a housemove.
Both great IMO! The moccamaster looks nicer to me, but has far fewer bells and whistles, so if you like to play a bit more, the precision lets you do more things (I have never bothered!), and has a built in clock, so you can set in to come on in advance which is an excellent feature.

Here's a fun question - just got a parking fine though for apparently overstaying my welcome at the local co-op last October - they reckon I was parked there overnight for about 12 hours!
For various reasons (aside from just knowing I've never left the car there overnight, whatsapp messages mostly - I know my wife had the car elsewhere between those times) I know that cannot be true, so can only assume the cameras have missed our exit/entry and is counting two visits as one visit.
Question is, I have no idea what I can do about it - the intial letter from the parking fine people went to our old house (now that is my fault) so first we've heard of is the letter from their debt collectors who I presume won't be overly taken by me saying "I didn't do it". Trying to appeal via the parking fine people's website and they say "your Parking Charge Notice has been passed to a Debt Recovery Agent for collection, therefore the time to appeal or make payment with Horizon Parking has elapsed. Please refer to your correspondence sent by our Debt Recovery Agent".
Any clue what to do?

One of these: https://maap.cc/uk/products/alt-road-lightweight-anorak-dark-olive which due to not reading the website right, I didn't realise I couldn't return so am here to cut my losses.
It's a small, and its in "Dark Olive". Been tried on once.
£270 or something mad new, £144 in the sale, any takers for £115 posted in the UK?

Online returns question! My wife has just bought a load of MAAP gear, all in two sizes, from their sale.
On going to return the ones that were too big, MAAP say they do not refund sale items, and will only offer exchange/store credit. It's a bit cheeky - the product pages all say "Free shipping and returns" and its only if you click into that section that it says "not on sale items".
The bigger issue though is that I thought this wasn't allowed - doesn't whatever the "Distance Selling Regulations" are called these days cover her?
(Edit - found a page on their site that essentially says "we're Australian mate, and follow Australian law - does that get them out of it, even though they are selling to the UK? I wouldn't have thought so...)

Just re-bought an Iridium and blown away by how much I like it compared to when I previously owned one. Clearly I have fickle ears, or maybe it just sounds better with my current monitors.
Anyway, means my Walrus ACS-1 is up for sale. Anyone interested at £150? Think that's a pretty good deal. It's great!
