I was the #6 hanging ever further off the back, in a blue jersey - subject to some definite sympathy claps on way around.
Race highlight definitely the moment I got confused about where I was and thought I was on the off camber bit when I was actually at the bit just before it so rode sideways along a very unsuitable bit of one of the mounds and fell off in a inglorious heap.
Spent the rest of the race vainly chasing back on, getting near to the back of the field just in time for the leaders to lap me and end up stopping completely to let them through and having to start the chase again.
On the plus side, I had a bit of cake, three beers and a pack of quorn sausages on the DLR home.
Also, @Ecunard is the politest overtaker I've encountered, and I've been overtaken by a lot of people.

This is obviously "not allowed" but if you want to try, then your partner could probably just get in your start pen too.
The security when I've done it has amounted to two bored teenage stewards manning a 10 meter wide entrance so it's hardly a forensic check of your credentials as you walk past them. They generally seemed to just glance and check that you were wearing some kind of number (i.e. not a total blagger turning up for a free ride).
Anyway, this is obviously not allowed.

Just received my Dynamo Hub wheel in the post and a B&M Lumotec Cyo T Premium. Hooray!
I think I've got my head around wiring the light to the hub (and have discovered I'm missing a connector for the hub!), but am confused by the cables for the taillight.
I will be running without taillight for the time being - what the devil does one do with the wires that would normally connect to the taillight? I presume I don't just leave them hanging mournfully.

Bah, riding down Shelton St going past the Crown & Anchor, van in front jumps on the brakes, I stop a few metres behind assuming there is traffic in front of van but instead van man then reverses alarmingly quickly back towards me. So I try to scramble out the way to the side (surprisingly hard from stationary!) and he just clips my back wheel taking me off.
"Sorry I missed my turn" is the explanation and off he goes down Neal St I think it is.
Adrenaline has annoyingly melted my brain sufficiently to forget the reg. Bike in one piece aside from a shifter banged out of place and some superficial pannier damage.

Ok, easiest way to see all your different routes on one map is to create an event:
https://ridewithgps.com/help/create-an-event
But it doesn't allow you to merge (for this see below) into one route, or then split back into routes that are different from the loaded ones. Someone should make that software - load in all the routes, then click for start and end points for new routes you want and export!
For merging in RWGPS - when you are "editing" a route, in the left hand menu side bar there is a "load an existing route" box under "Add route" - start typing the name of your route and then select it and it will add it to the map you're editing on. Assuming it starts basically where the one you're editing ends, then you can just click on the green blob which is the start point of it it and it will join the two routes together. See screenshot!

Having just bought 4 of those rotors I can say that even if it is supposed to be, it isn't! Only the individual tightening plates are. No issues so far.
(edit - bit of googling seems to suggest the instructions are old from when they used a funky shaped bolt. Consensus is just use the bits they sent, i.e. the normal bolts and 3 x tightening plate things)

here goes nothing...
Saw someone with a nice jacket on the commute in this morning. It was fairly bright blue with a red strip across the back of the shoulders. It had pit zips so I assume it's a sporty jacket of some description. Any ideas?!
Even more useless info - worn by someone on a genesis, just after Queens Road Peckham - tell me you're "on here"!

It was rideable if you were going fast! That looks like the bunching on lap one.
