20 hours in 14 days Strava challenge, having missed about 8 days trying to go as slow on my commute as poss. The embarrassment of getting over taken by a builder on a kids bike is getting to much.

First commute in on the new Rose CX bike. Getting used to the different crankset , and finally sorted out the tension on my Ultregra pedals which I haven't used in an age due to the tension. Think I might need longer steam, but all in all a good solid run in the drizzle.

Blue Gabba arrived today, bit gutted now as I found my Tenn winter jacket at the weekend and it's perfect with a base layer. Wondering if I really needed the Gabba?

Talking of West Norwood the set of lights at the end of Robson Rd as you come onto the High Street? What's the deal I was sat there for at least 4 minutes on red before I got bored and made a move as there were no other cars about. This has happened before are there lights that are only triggered by a car?

Only 6 hardy souls on our 40 miles club ride yesterday. Very bloody wet ,only suffered one puncture which took much longer to sort due to having no feeling in my hands.

Must say there is something very enjoyable cycling in that weather. 7/10

Chilly start but soon warmed up, Shoes and overshoes hadn't fully dried out from Sundays ride so have frozen feet by the time I got in apart from that nowt to report.

Have had to come into the office today, did my normal commute if only it was like this every day, lite traffic, no other cyclist all the lights were on green. Knocked 15 minutes off my commute time.

1st commute back after me holiday, lovely if a little chilly. Still quite a few people without lights. Loved the comment by one fella to a cyclist without lights, "excuse me, your lights aren't working' total bewilderment on the face of the cyclist.

Doesn't seem to matter what lights you use, peds just still step out in front.

Jump the Red light day 2 day but only if your are wearing Hi-Viz. Also if you are going to jump the lights make sure you put the effort in to get a bit further up the road, gets a bit boring for those's of us waiting at the lights to catch you up in a few pedal strokes.

Green Tomato Cars are fast becoming the new Addison Lee in terms of dick drivers.

Should have changed the summer overshoes to my winter ones and got my arse in gear to put the rear mud guard on. Instead I have cold wet feet and a soggy harris. Also in need of some device to help me see through me goggles in the rain.

Remembered my rain jacket today....as we are due rain today.

Wished I'd pack my rain jacket for tonight's commute, Autumn is here.
