Thanks but I have a similar mount that is causing the rack to sit too high and I have no vice to straighten it out.

Saw that and sadly it's out of stock so if anyone's got one lying around...

Long shot but if anyone has a spare bridge mount for a soma porteur rack, or can point me in the right direction of where to get one that'd be marvellous.

Hit ice this morning and bike slid out from under me. Was at manor house / finsbury park lights, slowly filtering into ASL from seven sisters. Huge patch of black ice on left hand side of ASL.

Saw same patch of ice still there tonight so watch out anyone going in that direction in the morning.

Thanks to the nice ped who checked if I was ok. No harm done, just a bit of skin missing from my elbow. Even managed to get up and off before the lights turned green.

Second day on a new rat bike,first single speed I've owned. Puncture at finsbury park on the way home. Realised I didn't have my pump. Remembered I had some air cartridges. Fixed puncture. Tried to inflate with first cartridge. No luck. Fixed puncture again. Second cartridge didn't inflate. Road home on a flat. (Thanks to the guy at manor house lights who lent me his pump as a last attempt).

Turns out the sidewall is ripped. Only took two tubes to find as well.

7/10, will ride single speed again (with a proper pump. Cartridges can go fuck themselves).

Are there any flat bar levers compatible with a Shimano 105 front brake caliper? Trying to use up things from the parts bin and cant get decent braking power with the current rubbish but free bmx lever.

Ignore, just found some drop levers that should do the job.
