belated new years update here.
It's still racking up commuting miles like a champ, just with some new stuff from santa (thomson + old slr) and some minor aesthetic tweaks. I rattle-canned the Deda logos off the forks and replaced with an appropriately silly sticker, and added some forum branding (double gold foil ftw).

Pretty sure I saw @Bezzin at the end of Oakhill road today? Also guy on a chrome bianchi pista w/riser, wearing shorts and a green fannypack going down Fulham palace road around 7.50. Looked like he could be on here..

Although the rake is about a cm more (44mm vs 36 on the original I think) the shorter crown to axel seems to kinda counteract this (?) in terms of how it handles. Basically the actually steering feels uncanny compared to the old one, and acceleration is noticably better. Also feels particularly good uphill of course...
Would highly recommend
ah thankyou. Saddle and waterbottle are the only shortcomings imo
