Bought this Rychtarski a couple weeks ago to replace a stolen bike. Then saw someone cycling said cycling bike and managed to get it back. So selling this back on.

Original thread is here, have asked Alb if he'd like it back or knows next person in line, otherwise I'll go by the dibs in original thread and then anyone else that's interested in this thread.

Is in same condition as when I got it, have been riding it to and thro work. Also have put on the SKS chromoplastics Alb provided. Only difference is I really like the saddle so wanna keep it, will reduce price or provide an alternative, whatever buyer prefers.

Is a gorgeous solid ride.

This is my post from June. A few days a go I saw someone riding it and then finally convinced them to give it back to me. They definitely knew they'd bought a stolen bike and so didn't feel much remorse. Wasn't the nicest thing to do though.

I also called the police after seeing it and they said someone would call me. Did miss a call from unknown number so called 101 straight back and they said they'd call again only to then get it back myself and not hear from them. Had they not been willing to give it back I am not sure what I would have done to get it back as the police were of no help in the end, even with full police report etc.

Very pleased to have it back, and very lucky. Nothing was really different on the bike, just a couple components.

Interesting cycle to work this morning. Came across someone cycling my bike that was stolen from me a few months ago. Chatted to them and at a stalemate. Now wondering whether I will get it back and how.

I just found saw my bike that was stolen a few months ago. I followed the lady to her work and spoke to her. She gave me her number and kind of says to come back. I filed a police report when it was stolen and have a video of it being stolen 2 from my work, 2 minutes away from my work.

What do I do now?

I'm collecting this Friday. Fortunate enough to get first dibs.

See this is manchester so cleared my post..

Girlfriends birthday coming up and I'd like to get her on the road. A ladies town bike that's easy enough to ride and I would expect she'd like it in black but that's not essential.

Probably a £150 range.

Currently have indexed downtube shifters and would like to have brake lever shifters. The rear mech is an old Sachs and the cassette is a seven speed Shimano. Not entirely sure what compatibility goes on there. Looking for relevant cockpit shifters.

Also after some brakes as the weinmann brakes I leave a lot to be desired.

Looking for a bike to get me around londono. I'm 6 foot 6 so looking for something big. Ideally something low maintenance and nice and sturdy but interested in hearing anything you may have that's right size.

Budgets variable but don't wanna spend more than £400 really.
