I do have the option of mounting the guard on the front of the fork, so that will move it up a bit, going to try that before i do anything too drastic.

fitted some veloorange hammered to my cross check, quite impressed with the quality of them. Not happy with how the mud flap sits, will likely take it off, or adjust it.

Nice casual ride along the lakeshore west to the white bridge in etobicoke then up the humber bike path, loads of small hills in humber valley on roads in and around high park.

I run 1x10 campag on my commuting bike.

Race Face narrow wide up front, veloce rear derailleur and veloce shifters. No parts removed from the left shifter, no rattling.

I keep imagining that I will one day remove all the shifting parts (would be an easy job) but have never got around to it.

I've never had a bottle mounted there, but I always thought if i wanted to drink from it, i'd just change the cap with one from a bottle I've been using in the "normal spots"?

the rear derrailleur is a SRAM MTB one...cassette: 11-36.

Hoping that you can help.

I have a Sugino XD2 tripple chainset, that I am going to switch to just run 2 chain rings, these will be 50 + 32, and will be placed in the middle and outer ring locations...

Derrailleur will be a SRAM red yaw.

Am I going to have problems with the outer ring being "too far away" for the derailleur, or will I be ok?

newer Garmin run strap much more comfortable than the older plastic one, and never misses a beat, (ha!).

the fill power of your jacket doesn't indicate warmth so much, more the quantity of said down...it is a better indicator of how light/small your item will pack.

Two jackets could both be 800 fill, just with a different quantity of down in each one. More 800 fill = warmer.

on its own the sweater is no way warm enough for the cold temps, but the fitz roy would be.

Last time I was at Nadirs place he still had a couple...at least 1 of each of the blue and dotted track frames. Although it has been a while since I left TO, not even been to his new place, who knows if he still has any of them.

I was just looking for some photos from his space he had between the two most recent iterations of La Carrera, but can't find anything, like a grotto filled with gold plated campag and custom painted Colnagos.

I don't think that Nadir "found" any of these bikes - it was a collaboration with Colnago as far as I am aware for the re-launch of the Master Pista in 08.
