I used Velo Orange seatpost and stem, with zipp silver bars on just finished Colnago

Serious bike for very good price. Pre- brexit I’d be all over this (based in Ireland)

Don’t have M10 tap. Will add to my complaints list for Colnago

Hope you’re making progress with this. I now can’t attach my rear derailleur. Cannot get the bolt to catch on the threads. Sick of the problems with this expensive new frame.

Have managed to get seatpost in (after chopping bit of excess length). Will leave in overnight then treat frame internally before starting build proper.
Will still complain about the frame to shop/Colnago!
Will leave off any updates about my frame from here on in.

Looking good! I’m waiting to hear back from Colnago about the seat tube issue before I go more vigorous with treatment. A bit of sanding improved it a bit. Will do more tomorrow plus chop some of seatpost (as is definitely too long).
But mine will be similar to your, have same wheels, but going silver finishing kit & record/super record groupset.
Just pissed that can’t just crack on with the build.
The thread build is gonna be great too. Love the wheels, and the paint job is amazing (nearly has me doubting my choice)

A bit disappointment with the response from the shop to date. Said they sold lots of frames and not had similar issues.
I’ve escalated with them and said I’m not happy with the frame as delivered. They are waiting for response from Colnago on it.

Definitely don’t go straight to slammed, err on the side of caution.
Let me know how get on with seatpost. Tried putting mine on today and was incredibly tight. I took it out as didn’t want to force it. Never had such a tough time trying to fit a seatpost.
Also the cable stops were mismatched ( one black , one silver).
Have emailed them about these and the seatpost. Frustrating

Just picked up this very frameset yesterday. In good condition. Will be sticking Athena 11 and zondas on it. Love the paint job on it

I’ll be putting Velo orange tall stack stem on mine when it’s delivered. Matching silver seatpost too.
Available in black also. Stem not expensive either, and means can use 31.8 bars that I already had.

Personally I think the silver fork looks great, works with the lighter colours on the paint job. But ofc do whatever you think is best

I was actually banking on this not arriving for another couple of months as had bought another bike couple weeks ago. Had only paid deposit for this in June, so taken a serious hit to finances in last 2 weeks.
