Looked this up the other day to see if 3T Ventus bars would be legal now. Looks like they're still illegal. 3:1 still applies to stem, bars, seatpost etc. It's just the frameset that's exempt. Bottom of page 42 here:https://www.uci.org/docs/default-source/equipment/clarificationguideoftheucitechnicalregulation-2018-05-02-eng_english.pdf?sfvrsn=fd56e265_92&fbclid=IwAR2ikNYLY_MTesMQb80u0fxr2jWt0s7NhxOJ228jBwSRIuGddE_VRR0D_5E
That being said, depends on the event. National masters track are pretty relaxed, Tour of Cambridgeshire don't care. Would only really worry about it for BC Nat's tbh (another P3 owner here, btw! Use it for pursuits at HHV).
EDIT - that's the 2018 regs it seems...
EDIT EDIT - link says 2018, text says 2020, so that is the up to date version -

Pretty sure it’s still going ahead? @eldweebio of this parish had taken over the reins last I heard? I’ve got it in my diary for Sunday 5th April.

Was it this chap? Riding a Brompton? https://justmyshorts.com/
Used to see him on the tube sometimes from Amersham before I moved back to the smoke.

Turbo season is upon us again. Anyone got a fan they're not using anymore? Thinking something along the lines of this:

5mm of axle spacers each side (https://www.hubjub.co.uk/chainring-or-axle-spacers-44-p.asp) and Campag track nuts (they're much shallower than standard bolts, which makes up for the shorter axles) and you're golden: https://www.hubjub.co.uk/campagnolo-track-nuts-76-p.asp

Built this up as a winter bike for HHV but I really can't get on with the geo unfortunately! Condition is absolutely mint as it's only been ridden three times. All bearings buttery smooth and chainline runs silent.
Current set up is on the aggressive side, but I can switch out the bar/stem combo for something a little more endurance if it suits (worth noting the steerer's been cut to run the stem slammed though).
Spec:
Frame: Dolan Pre Cursa frameset, large (57cm TT) gun metal grey
Bars: 40cm Pro Vibe 7s track, 150mm drop (OR Deda RHM02, 38cm wide, 130mm drop)
Stem: Deda Pista -25 degree, 140mm (OR Deda Zero 100, 130mm -6 degree, Deda Pista -25 degree 130mm, Cinelli Pista -30 degree 110mm)
Wheels: Miche Pistard tubular
Tyres: Vittoria Corsa CX front, Conti Sprinter back
Chainset: Miche Primato
Saddle: Planet X
Gears: currently got 50x16 on (Winter gear!) but could probably dig out most ratios - let me know your preferenceBike is currently just outside Amersham (last stop on the Met line) but will be in Camberwell from the new year.

That looks like it'll be exactly what I need, judging by the link @LeMesjeu just posted! How much would you want for it?

This chap on Twitter has an interesting question - anyone know how they can get round this one? Forks can’t be wider than 105mm and rear stays can’t exceed 135mm (so can only be slightly wider than the front or rear hub).
Rear stays could be 135mm, but the fork arms are definitely wider than the hub. 90mm front hub, maybe?

Massive thread dredge here but since this is the first Google result for this and there's not really a clear answer on the thread, thought I'd post my experience for the benefit of future kierin grip installers.
NJS kierin grips are designed for 25.6mm clamp bars, which are narrower than usual. Putting them on those, you may be able to get them on with WD40 (RE WD40 and hairspray: they both do exactly the same thing except WD40 dries quicker - usually done in an hour or two, hairspray can take a day or so).
If you're putting them on 31.8mm clamp bars (I was putting them on a set of Deda Velocitas) they are an absolute git and WD40 is not enough. I did the first with it (as that's what I've been using for 15 years) and it took me over an hour, most of the skin off my hand and all the swear words I know. The second I soaked in hot soapy water. Boom. Done in 30s.

Called someone out the other day (very politely). Second ever time calling someone out in person but they really were being a bit dim. Rare example of rural cycling dickotry though.
Descending into Marlow at c60kph, got overtaken by a group of three doing c70kph with no warning and with less than a bar’s width room. Fucking morons.
Tucked in behind them and asked them to shout a warning and give more room next time when we reached the town. They were good about it and apologised tbf.

Maybe look for some second hand frames? That way you can get people to mark it as a gift and it won't get stung for import duty.
Holdsworth looks decent for the money and the geo's good.
You're about the same height as me. I run a 57 with a 140mm stem. The really good sprinters find that long stems flex, but unless you're putting out 1800w you probably wouldn't notice it. Handling-wise, I prefer having a long stem on the track. Much more stable and it's not like you're cornering!
I was going to take mine to the nationals, but getting picked up on it wouldn’t be the end of the world for me as I can just put the bars on my actual track bike (p3 is 2cm longer for the same stack, so suits my position better is all).
I’ve heard worlds could be a bit more of a stickler though. If you do decide to give it a shot, you could ask on the masters track Facebook group whether anyone’s got a uci seatpost you can borrow/rent?
