Bit wet this morning but nice and empty. Only thing is that I have trouble seeing through my glasses with all that spray. Does anyone have a good solution for that or should I switch to contacts?

I rode through some water and a bit of dirt recently and not a speck. Anyway, panniers are usually covered in hardy material. Mudguards do protect the pannier to some extent (spray water ricocheting off the rack top) while also not hosing the riders behind me down.

If only there was something that would prevent mud and water to be thrown from the wheel. Something that somehow curves over the profile of the tire; sturdy yet light... oh, hang on...

It's a bit odd that he/she doesn't reply, but I bought the cranks and although it took a good week for them to be delivered (from Lithuania), there was no problem with communication with Vytas.

I had nasty side wind from the left - had to watch out every time passing a side street. Otherwise a lovely journey. Well, I say lovely, I meant acceptable. I say acceptable....
