Thanks for all the info. My handlebars are slightly too wide so drag when I roll the folded bike, I think those large mudguard wheels could lift it a few mm so I don't have to cut the bars down. Extendable thing looks sturdy too!

How do you rate the mudguard easy wheels on the black lacquer?

Suggested a bead of weld. He's only going off photos but thinks it's fixable.

Pretty sure they're cracks rather than scratches, one seems to open up a bit if I flex the dropout. They are tiny though!

I've got a 2006 titanium fork and discovered cracks on both blades near the dropouts.

Got in touch with Brompton who don't recommend repairing them. I've emailed Vernon Barker and they're willing to take a look, given a rough estimate of £100.

Anyone had similar repairs done or recommend against them? Has the fork design changed at all in the intervening years?

I had a bad time removing a pair of carbon PT cranks, ended up with a scratched crank arm and one of the puller tool's jaws bent out of shape. I got a replacement puller from Park (which is the one for sale here).

I'm not ruling out my own ability to butcher bike parts as the problem, but removal seems like a common issue with power torque.

Aluminium PT removal might be more forgiving because you can use the plastic adaptor – less likely for the jaws to slip and dig into the crank.

Pleased to say I no longer have any Power Torque cranks in my life so this set is surplus to requirements.
