Thought that was you we went passed near the final KM mark on Sunday. My mate and I were planning to do the same route as you guys, but he forgot to book his Newhaven-Dieppe ferry ticket and they sold out, so at the 11th hour switched to Dover-Calais. 32hrs door to door no sleep. And ALL the hills. Not another cyclist in sight the whole way. I can see why! Amazing ride and countryside, but def taking the Newhaven route next time. Or breaking it up and getting some sleep.

Long shot, but on the look out for an old flat bar touring bike. Ideally with Reynolds tubing. The Dawes Street ones (Life, Easy, Sharp etc) are all pretty sweet. Canti-lever brakes. Thumb shifters rather than grip shift. I usually ride a 52-54cm frame. Looking to pref spend under £100, so not expecting anything fancy. I'm in London. Can collect.

Looking to build up a SS for somebody who needs a frame about 50cm. She'd like a steel frame (ideally old but made for 700c). Road, or track that's drilled for brakes. Paintjob is probably more important that quality of tubing, but price should reflect the tubing of course. Budget up to around £200. Can collect anywhere in London.
Alternatively open to completes, either road or SS.

These are such nice frames. Looks like £670 is the cheapest price around for new ATM. Def going to keep an eye out on here and eBay in the meantime. I'm 5'8" and was thinking the 51cm but sounds like 53cm should be right? Also, some frames are listed as the 2.0. Is there a difference?
