That's certainly true of the advice I've received from the last two physios I've seen, they've both championed active recovery. In my case it basically boiled down to doing the prescribed mobility exercises as soon as I could perform them with no more than 3 in the 1-10 pain scale and walking as much as possible every day.

I've had about 6-7 episodes like this over the past decade or so when my back just 'goes'. It is absolutely debilitating and usually takes about 7-10 days to get back to anything close to full range of motion, in my case it requires prescription anti-inflammatories. I also had to get moving as soon as possible; the more I walked (well, hobbled) the better I felt. Best of luck and hopefully the pain eases quickly.

Looking for a combined TV unit/desk solution for the living room, something like this but not £10k or anywhere near that!
https://www.iqfurniture.co.uk/studio-iq/tv-units/kronos-0280/p13748/
The wood panel I'm not fussed about, it's more the idea of the clean, three unit solution with a floating desk.
Primary concern (aside from cost) is whether a plasterboard wall can take all that weight, also looking to mount the TV on the wall with a full-motion bracket.
Other concern is around the depth of the floating desk , most TV units seem to be around the 40-45cm depth mark, I'd want the depth of the units uniform but slightly concerned that 45cms isn't quite deep enough to work comfortably... current cheapo table I'm working from is 60cms deep.Has anyone had something like this done recently or have any pointers on companies that I should be looking at?

Personally I wouldn't go there, far too much hassle and have heard many horror stories. Right now I'm looking at global equity funds which have sustainability embedded in their investment process, beware of the myriad 'greenwashed' funds out there, 3-5 year investment horizon at a minimum. There are also a few covid recovery funds popping but that's more of an opportunistic play.
Personal opinion, not investment advice.

Set off from Cheam on Saturday to do a modified version of the Denbies Wine Estate route by @routes.cc:

Shout out the Nissan Qashqai that brake checked me going down Box Hill, just about managed to not slam into the back of him.
Struggled with having to stay in the saddle on some of the lumpy bits, back wheel immediately lost traction if I stood on the pedals.

You're right, it's impossible to know. But IMO the rigidity of the current furlough system is counterproductive and forces people to be in suspended animation, it gives a false sense of security of things eventually going back to the way they were and for a significant number of jobs that simply won't be the case.

Sorry to hear about your crash and I hope you make a speedy recovery. With regards to price, the sum of cost of the components will not equal (or in my opinion come close to) what someone will be willing to pay for the full build, just how it is I'm afraid. If you're trying to recoup as much of the cost as possible you'll likely have more luck splitting as others have said.

Maybe. It certainly explains why his head didn't snap clean off but just thought the forces on impact through his chest and torso might have been enough to knock him out. Remarkable that he was able to undo belts, hans, etc. and get out pretty much unaided, whilst on fire, after a hit like that.
