I totally agree, stem doesn't work and and given how much time I ordinarily spend staring at/chewing my stem, it's more than a minute detail!
I have a 120mm S-Works SL stem (10mm longer than the chonk Zipp that's on) which is meant for the Vig, but I'll try that out over the next few weeks. Good shout on the bearing cover.

Wheelsfar Feder 45, 19mm internal, 26mm external. They're nice but would prefer a grooved brake track. Angle makes the bar position look worse than it is, but yeah I'll play around with it. Same with steerer, definitely won't get slammed but I'll probably settle at around 20-25mm under stem. See how I get on after riding it for a bit.

Unless you've done mega miles (PBP) a la @Ruserius , in which case the rules don't apply because you've bent road fixed / fixed road to your will.

Transfer wheels and full Ultegra 8000 groupset from the Klein but I'm easing up the gearing so it's a bit more suitable for long climbs. So switching out to 50/34 rings with an 11-30 cassette, as large as I can go with the short cage RD. In-line Zipp seatpost from the Fairlight, and new to me Zipp SL carbon bars and stem. Should fit 28mm tyres fine but there's already a set of nice 25mm tyres on the wheels I'll be porting over so I'll just wait that out. Black cables, white bar tape.

@Thrasher - Rim brake renaissance continues to gain momentum!!!

From a Shimano only standpoint, it's my understanding that 12-speed chainrings will work with an 11-speed chain but not the other way round, no? Hence why during the the big crankset recall Shimano are replacing faulty 11-speed cranksets with 12-speed 8100 group cranksets. Doesn't answer your question about the eTap derailleurs though @TTM but I'm inclined to agree that 11-speed chainrings won't work with a 12-speed chain.

Cheers. Yes, I saw that stem earlier. I have exactly the same one (120mm) destined for another bike, here ideally I'd need a 110mm.
