I am selling Witcomb road frame and forks with Velo Orange grand cru threaded headset.
I bought this a few years ago from Union Cycle Works and it was repainted by Mario Vaz.

It has some nice details, a short wheelbase and have always enjoyed riding it.
As you can see in the photos it is well used so the usual nicks and little chips in the paint and a small indentation on the seat tube which.

What kind of tyre clearance is there at the back end?

Can recommend Giro Trans HV (High Volume).
Always had problems finding shoes until these.

The design has changed a little in the last couple of years so can't comment on the latest uppers but they have now added a replaceable heel pad which is the only negative comment I had on the previous model.

On the Roberts, definety interested.

Do you know what the tyre clearance is like in the front and back? Take 25c?

Do you have any pics with it sitting on wheels? Would love to get a sense for the geometry too.

I see your name pop up on a lot of the Witcomb threads. You a bit of a aficionado?

Been riding this for a few years but thought I would post it up.

It is a witcomb frame, not sure what steel. I am advised it is potentially one of the frames made in the USA but was reprinted with the standard British witcomb decals in place.

It has very tight crit/time trial geometry and very little clearance between back wheel and frame.

Not the lightest but has treated me well and i've had a lot of fun on it. the bike seems to perform especially well on long drags in terrible conditions.
