Any guesses to the manager who Howard Webb says is scared of playing at Stoke, lets hope that he isn't entrusted with anything too important like the hopes of a nation.
WORLD Cup final referee Howard Webb says that Stoke City is the hardest place in the Premier League to be a referee. He said: "It's tough coming to Stoke, I have to say it's the hardest place in the Premier League to referee – by a country mile."
"It's hostile, the fans are hostile and it's difficult for the away teams as well.
"I can remember standing next to a well-known manager as fourth official and he said to me, 'I hate coming to Stoke, hate it.' I said well, he only had to come once a season as a manager, I had to go six or seven times a season. Then he got sacked the next week.
"Then funnily enough he got a new job and his first away game was at the Britannia Stadium."

Paddy's Wigwam.Really, that's concrete? And they ran out of money, and only built the top third. Can you build just the top 3rd of a football stadium.
For me, it brings to mind the Mound Stand at Lords, but obviously on a much much grander scale. I think I like it, but it may be too much.

Can anyone on this board explain to me what's going on in Greek football. According to this report, Panathinaikos want their fans "to protest the situation in Greek football and for the failure of the state to address the phenomena of lawlessness."
When the lawlessness in question seems to be of their own fans' making? What am I missing here?

I assume you mean that we should have spoken up when he started insulting Scousers, but we weren't scousers.
We also had a chance when he moved onto Mancs,
Likewise Norfolk, Newcastle and Stoke
Thinking about it that way, I agree. I only got upset when he started having a go at Stoke, and by then it was too late :(
I've not been before, but I was going to go here
