I suppose you could use a short bit of brake cable - pull it through the hole so it comes out into the cable groove on the plastic body,put a small cable tie on it and the snip the cable, snip the end of the cable tie, tape over and hey presto no floppy lever?

2015 mavic r sys slrs should be delivered and fitted next week so should be down to around 7kg +/-
