Hi all, thought this might be the best place to ask. I'm thinking of swapping to a single, narrow/wide chainring and upgrading from 8 to 10 speed on a bike I've primarily used for long distance touring. The drive train is worn out and the bike could do with a new lease of life. But I'd like to keep running friction shifters - anyone have experience running friction shifters with a clutch rear derailleur? Does it work?
As described in the title. It's the version with the internal, wedge style steer tube clamp. It's used but in v good condition. I'm looking for something a little longer.
Pm me if you have anything you'd like to swap.
