Poor fucker can't even get some support from the Torygraph BTLers. I liked this one:
I really do not understand all this calling for licences, mirrors etc. The misguided motorist's logic seems to be:
1) For safety reasons, all cycles should be equiped with mirrors.
2) It is dangerous for cyclists to cycle 2 or 3 abreast so bikes should be fitted with a side seat and back seat(s) so that other cyclists can travel as passengers and remove road congestion
3) In wet conditions, having only 2 wheels is dangerous. All bikes should therefore be equipped with 4 wheels as standard.
4) For additional comfort, the bike should have a roof
5) Cyclists go so much slower than the other traffic so should be equipped with motors to propel them faster.
6) Cycles should be renamed cars. -

Long story short, I convinced myself I needed another bike, and I didn't. Therefore, there's a rather beautiful, but completely unridden bike sat looking at me accusingly, and it must go. Bought it a couple of years ago, and haven't even taken the plastic off it or attached pedals. It's embarrasing.
It's sized XL, though that's Italian sizing - the measurement details are in this link, http://www.actionbikes.co.uk/wilier-toni-bevilacqua-steel-black-2014.htmlwhich show this year's (identical) model priced at £645. This considered, I reckon £290 (final drop) seems pretty fair.
Collection from SE18, or possibly Wapping.

The BBC has denied any intended reference, saying the car was bought by a member of the production team and was entirely coincidental.
Oh, just fuck right off BBC, you pack of lying cunts. We deserve better.

Internet diagnosis gives Plantar Fasciitis. It's noticeable in the morning, and when running, but not painful/uncomfortable enough to make me even considering stopping.
I plan on ignoring it, continuing to run (as long as it doesn't get worse) and working on stretching and core strength.
If it's PF, it's likely to get worse, and it's mortifying as a runner to get it, as it's mainly a fat person's condition. There are some decent mitigation exercises you can use:
Calf raises on the edge of a step
Rolling a golf ball under your foot while sat at your deskWhat eventually cured mine was wearing a strap that kept the foot at 90 degrees to the leg while sleeping - uncomfortable, but really effective.

Hi, can now report that it does not have mudguard mounts.
Sizewise, it's probs suitable for someone 5'10 upwards.
