This mornings long run round Shooters Hill totally wiped me out.

I'm just in the process of selling up in Shooters, will miss it as a place to run, so many parks and woodlands to link up for great long runs with minimal pavement time - Oxleas, Avery, Eltham, Bostall, West Wickham, and not far to Chiselhurst. There aren't too many parts of London that give you those sort of options.

Pretty unequivocal really, though there was talk of exceptions being made for runs upwards of 2 hrs when winter arrives.

I did Gosport a few years ago - pretty uninspiring course, but a well-run race. The guy who finished in front of me was in his 50s, had a waist-length ponytail and was running barefoot - hero.
