Weather bomb 10k tonight. I'm scared.

10k last night. Been doing 10k / 8k / 10k during the week and I seem to be holding up. Last night was a ridiculous piss down with heavy wind.. looking forward to the WEATHER BOMB.

Sick as a dog, but still on the bike.. can't see a bit of skin on me though!

Picked these up for £10 from Halfords 2 years ago.. http://www.halfords.com/motoring/garage-equipment/overalls-safety-equipment/portwest-high-performance-gloves-large - they are still holding up and I use them when working on my car and stuff too.

Navigating around frost in full skin covering kit this morning as I'm ill. Easily a 10/10 though, as I came a cm away from falling over in the clips, but somehow might right foot came out at the last minute due to some sort of magic..

Nice dry ride, so can't complain.

Saw a person riding a MTB on the pavement with a motocross helmet on.

Had my first puncture in 4 months. Brown glass shards in the middle of the gatorskin. Other than that, nice ride in and loving this weather.

Pulled into a box, which I shared with an SUV. The SUV had a lady inside that was texting, and looking up to see if the light had changed every 4 or 5 seconds. She was so engaged that my staring at her didn't make her look up. Got on my bike and moved forward like I was taking off, but the light hadn't turned yet. She threw her phone in the passenger seat, shifted to 1st and started to go, then realised it was still red. She looked at me embarassed, but then picked her phone back up and started texting again.

Overtaken by a guy this morning who proceeded to stop pedalling after he passed me. Overtook him and asked him to keep up speed if he overtakes someone. He looked at me and didn't respond. I overtook him shortly after, as he was obviously winded after overtaking me. 5 mins later he does the same exact thing. Overtakes me then stops pedalling. We get next to each other at the next light and I ask him why he did it again. No response, as he has headphones in (which is fine by me). I then full blast death metal yell at him. He is very startled and takes his headphone out. I point out the error in his ways and he thanks me and we go about our biz.

8/10 for a nice guy taking criticism without freaking out.

Great ride in this morning as traffic was chock-a-block and I was making great progress. On Muller Road (Major road) in Bristol coming down and a red Audi goes in the wrong lane for about 1/4 mile passing me and about 40 cars. Bus is coming towards him and he decides it's time to take a quick right and leave the scene. Boggles my mind sometimes.

Hope you feel better. That's truly ridiculous and I hope you keep us in the loop on what progresses.

Also my first day clip less today.. was very mind full of not falling over and thought it shouldn't be much different than straps and cages. Made it almost all the way in to work and while waiting in the middle of Muller road to turn off to a side street, someone cut me off while advancing. I stopped and then realised I was leaning too far and blah blah it was over. Fell over on my right knee/leg and luckily traffic went around me, heh. Embarrassing to say the least, but I'll live. Lessoned learned I hope.
