This immaculate 2002 Easy Rider has appeared on ebay... Cannondale's only (as far as I know) recumbant... My desire for strange and wonderful 'dales makes me sorely tempted, but i can't really justify it. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/264455946350

I picked up this rather lovely and as far as I can tell completely untouched 2002 R500 on eBay. Going to give it a bit of a clean and a service, and debating whether I should modernise it at all - the tiagra groupset is a little clunky, but everything is pretty much unworn - it can't have done more than a few hundred miles. Even the bar tape is original. Thoughts, advice?

My Moulton has developed an annoying hairline crack in the seat post at the point that it is intersected by the crossbar - as shown in the pics below. Obviously it needs to be fixed, but I need advice on the best way to do this. Any suggestions would be gratefully received, also - any recommendations on who might be able to do this for me, or should I just take it to a bloke with a welder?

I have an unused Brompton front wheel that I bought from SJS for my Moulton last year before realising that the hub is the wrong size. As a result it's been sitting unused since then. It's a lovely wheel, built by SJS with a JTek Superlight Quick Release Hub (28H)and rather nice Sun Rims CR38 lightweight rim.
It's top of the range, weighing only 538g, with a quick release spindle. The hub alone is 75g lighter than the standard Brompton hub, with a much lower rolling resistance. Put this on your Brompton and you'll be flying.
I paid £75 for it last year, but am willing to let it go for £45. Collection from Highgate, N6 or i can bring it into central London most days.

Dibs on the wheels. I'm building a road bike for my son and these will do nicely.
