I am.
I'll be doing my best simply to get round after a winter of injury and massive fitness decline. What'll you be riding?
First race on the monster truck though so hoping that'll help me.
On the subject of the Commencal, I wouldn't worry about matching suspension. Something like an older RP23 with a fresh service and push tune will be better than off the peg and remotes and climb switches are just noise IME. And get the Slants.

Thanks. It runs lovely apart from the fact that it's only ever on four cylinders!
@Crispin_Glover I love his manual XJ12C, such a cool car.

@Soul That Golf bike rack is pretty cool
I've accidentally bought a car that's far too nice to put a bike rack on...

@V-L Rangie looks fantastic. Serious balls to buy an RS at current money.
I miss it.

I've replaced the battery on my original Macbook. After a few years it just got rubbish and that was being very careful to minimise charge cycles.
The big bonus over the air is the Retina screen, which I'd like for viewing/editing photos and having to unplug the charger to plug in my camera or phone will be frustrating and probably limit the life of the laptop. I'd want to keep it around 5 years and that just doesn't look viable.

@lynx That's awesome. Best of luck with that!
Has she specified an acceptable number of breakdowns for the trip? And were you to go to SA the choice motor to bring back would be a nice 3.0 GTV6
2002 almost guaranteed to be very crusty, but you've got to live in hope.
I've decide to punt my first ever car, since it is otherwise destined to be an eternal project.
New beater. Swapped the pedals and saddle on and I'm gong to fit some drops, but not sure what colour tape to go for.
And if anyone knows a way to fit an octalink BB to a French threaded frame I'd be very interested.
