I'm both uptight and underwhelmed about adding a stick-a-sole to my boots. I've walked ~500meters in them and given them a little rough-up with some p80 on a board, , I'm a little underwhelmed by video tips about the process seeming to be slap it on it'll be fine, when I know there's a taper on the toe and heal that I don't have sufficient clamps to close. Also juggling with wiping off with water vs. giving them some saddle soap action. Anyway sloes are dainite logger and I'm enjoying being uptight about it...

Just donning the idiot hat here for a while.
So I swapped the front wheel to another frame with the result of it's functioning better (with rockhard brake blocks) there.
And switched the calipers to 105 with anyold softish pads & that's now working better on this frame.
Within time I'll marry up the wheelsets to match again - just now even the memory of how they were functioning seems a nightmare.

This is on a downer from dangerous wheels! But on the up, the right side gear boss has been replaced, and gears cabled up to work lush.
If the handlebar setup is to be kept the reverse bar-end leavers will be a must and the ones I have are not fitting the ends - but that's minor - the big kick [literally from the feeling of being thrown off the dam thing] are the wheels so opening my eyes to other (even stupid without keeping) rims amid some swearing. -

fuck that's Air tubing and Zeus ends! I'm a bit blown away.
My one is at Argos like hospital for frames and has a long way to go but yours is just great.
I could try the bar idea but I've no reason to go aero with elbow tuckin - it could become a thing about having to try it.
It's a great find thanks for showing it is pure niceness like a blade. I'll speak to Argos about stem / steer tube modification. -
I don't do timetrials myself, nor segments or racing but this does have a job to do which is get me up a few hills three times a week so getting it to workings gears is what I'm after, as my TT days are as far behind me as they are for the frame. I do have Moser bars with a stem issue, being that the SLX tubing only allows a minimum insert, and I don't have the right length.
There has been a very similar frame with a 650front on sale here before did you get yours direct? -

Really needs a shop looking at on five counts from the easiest fitting the correct bb length and getting the gear cables done at the same time, alsoo bit worrying about the wheels alot of movement in the freehub as if the cassette locknut is very slack but it is tight and the front needs truing possibly 3-4 spokes replacing and a re-grease, on the gear cables the bigger problem is the right boss a crack not sure of the intervention needed it's very close to fitting.
I could take a bit off this or the leaver

Some nice stuff arrived, I'm awaiting a cone and locknut to get the rear hub running smooth, but it's the freehub that excites the most it has one get out of trouble cog of 21t giving 54" .
I think I'll set up the bars tomorrow with a ludicrous 130mm stem.
The bar-end leavers donot fit but I imagine to use the triomphe mounted lower on the bars with the cable having a small loop over to the routeing hole
It is still very 'I hope it works' and I would like to upgrade the calipers but for now it's pretty much on hold and I'm hiding from the finishing cost.
-will post the bars setup with fixedwheel- -

Yeah, that's exactly it, I think they're all closed and it should be an achievable DIY job. I didn't know dainite did such a nice stick on soles.
