here is my pride and joy, I have had this bike for around 3 years now, gradually upgrading components throughout this time.
Its a V1 Charge scissor, bare lacquered frame with the orange details, I had this professionally stripped, mirror polished and plated.. first in a zinc to protect the steel, and then in copper. This came at a cost of well over £250 alone.
The copper finish started out as shiny as a chrome bike, this dulled down over time, and has now turned the beautiful green colours you can see in the photos!
It would be no problem to clean up the copper and re polish it back to a mirror finish if required.
All components on the bike are in fantastic condition, the seat post got stuck in the frame at one point, and so now has some deep scratches from grips to twist it out.
The cranks/outboard bearings and spline drive set up is within 6 months old.
The time has come for me to pass it on, I would like to sell it as a complete bike, but I don’t really know what to ask for it,
I am after some advice as to what I can expect to get for this? I would rather not split it up.
