How did you find getting the bbright out? Replaced one today with the rotor equivalent to install Shimano crank and the standard bracket took a lot of whacking to remove.

Both 22.2mm with 26mm clamp. Cinelli is 110mm and the Pro light is 120mm.

Both still shiny and in good condition with some minor marks.

Have changed to crown race and it now sits much better. Still some movement in the fork but I think it's the fork itself. Its more like flex than play when holding the front brake.

No mudguard mounts so would need to be road specific ones or retro fitting with p-clips.

Frame or full bike? I have a Specialised Allez with a carbon fork that I need to shift. Currently bare but will have Shimano Tiagara 9 speed on it by Friday.

Basically this with a black carbon fork. Will get some pictures up soon. Would probably come in a bit cheaper than your budget also.

The spec for the bike says it ships with no crown race in place and also has a 36 degree chamfered bearing.

On my Argon 18 Krypton the lower fork bearing doesn't sit flush on the crown race. The bearing is 1 1/4 inch with a 45 degree internal chamfer. The crown race doesn't have a matching chamfer and the bearing 'floats' about 3mm from the top of the fork. I have a different crown race on the way but wanted to get some other opinions first.

Current crown race is also very difficult to remove even with a correct tool. Could it be glued?

I know they are nothing special. I want to bother to get some practice building a wheel and if I can get a suitable rim for £50 then it's cheaper than £100. Appreciate the advice. Thanks

Recently buckled the rim on a campagnolo zonda in a crash. Have had the wheels replaced but want to use the old hub and spokes to build a new wheel. The zonda rims are sealed and expensive. Could anyone suggest a reasonably priced rim.

Front wheel, 16 spoke, 24mm rim depth. Assume I also need to know spoke length and hub flange diameter before choosing a rim?
