Got a pair of challenge chicanes 33c in my parts bin that were near new off a customers bike if you want them +£4 postage.

You need to hold the 'threaded' portion with pliers while undoing the little Allen key. The little Allen bolt is loctited so will need like a shock force and a good new Allen key with no flex.

Careful if you do get it open as the is a small spring and ball bearing inside that with shoot out.

I've the opportunity to buy a Spectrum titanium frame by Tom Kellog. Bit of a Mish mash of parts (SRAM force/ Shimano 105). Ultegra wheels on Mavic rims. Frame is in 8.5 out of 10 condition.

Anyone else getting front derailleur drops on SRAM axs?

I've had a couple recently with various possible reasons. Bianchi with flexy bolt on FD mount. Another older carbon frame with a 'band on' front derailleur mount but drops seemed to be solved by a firmware update. Had a couple of other pro mechanics comment that the recommended SRAM install (alignment & height) isn't absolute gospel.

Looking to find a good chainspotter like the old SRAM red ones that had the 2.5mm screw into the front derailleur bolt head and then a lateral adjustment bolt.

Anyone else seeing SPD-SL pedal wear like this? One of my customers and he has worn through 3 pairs of pd-r8000 in 3.5 years.

Cleats are good. Shoes are also fine (fizik). A bit stumped.

Are you setting the preload while the the axle is tight with the Hel in the park?

Wheel rub inside non driveside chainstay.
Make sure rear drop outs aren't worn.
Never liked the models with the really short length on rear derailleur housing and you have to use ot-rs900 flexible housing. Always was bent too tight and didn't create a great shift.

For London rates it is hardly worth your while or a shops time to attempt what may not be a guaranteed repair. I'm all for fixing but in an area of £50-60 per hour labour Vs an £80 lever it's easier to buy new.
