Sounds like you have a damaged cable or short somewhere. Take some time and do a full test to isolate.

Yes it's a bit nuts. A magura rep told me today no such tool exists but how else can you service the caliper? I'm sure if I put some thought into it I could get the bore side pistons out with the airgun but shouldn't really have to.

Any one got or know somewhere I could get the above bore removal tool? 8 pronged version.

Have got to a point in the shop that I'm actually considering turning them away because they are such a headache and almost damage our reputation.

Did a full rebuild of one recently and it was back in the door 2 weeks later for a tune.

Have to 'cheat' the tension on the front derailleur so much i'm actually considering drilling a 1.3mm hole further towards the non drive side to increase the cable pull angle.

Having a lot of success right now with apex drill bits and chronos eze out extractors for broken bolt removal.

Spoken to a few other mechanics about this today too and seems to be an even bigger problem in the ebike rental market. Cassettes are just getting destroyed on a regular basis.

How hard could it be to fill this little niche with a little reverse engineering and machining.

Have a lot of customers quickly wearing out the 10t on 12 speed cassettes. Seems a shame to throw away an entire cassette for 1 sprocket.

I know in the past Miche used to offer single sprockets. Anyone else doing similar at the minute?
