I'm happy with the revised Wahoo pedals, I had two pairs of the first version of the Wahoo pedals from when they were initially released which both failed with side to side play on the spindle but that issue now seems to have been fixed.
However I recently fitted some new cleats and they also failed within two weeks of use around the spring retention tab which is worrying. Usually this would tab would wear after considerable use and require replacement after a year or so but to fail so soon is a concern.
Wahoo replaced the cleats under warranty as well pedals but their business model seems to rely on a low quality and warranty replacements.
I also had trouble with the float adjuster screws on one pair of cleats, almost seized in there. The right screwdriver is essential.

Purchased last year but only worn a few times at most. Not getting much use for it so might as well let it go.
Same version as the one currently available online.

Anyone with the new Wahoo Speedplay pedals should check the pedal body for side to side play on the spindles before their warranty is up.
Both sets of mine have suffered from it and searching online it seems to be a common fault.
Wahoo have given me a do not ride warning and are replacing them.

I've used Squirt lube before and would think any dry lube would work. I think you just want to avoid making a grinding paste with dirt that'll quickly wear out the body.

Siberian pine kit when?

I wore my ultralight yesterday whilst descending in 2º during some reps of the Cat & Fiddle in the Peak District and was warm with a thick jersey & ls baselayer underneath. I kind of see myself using it more like a better version of a packable windproof jacket with the others being more suited to longer rides in less changeable weather, gilet for '3 season' / cold autumnal and the jacket for deep winter.
There's obviously some overlap and it'll be dependant on layering but it's the only packable one out of the 3 so is the most flexible - unless you also get the ultralight bag!
