Great to ride with you all, thanks for coming out. Pace on the A21 reached new levels of smashfestina. Back now recovering with too much pasta.

Yep, we don't need to go into Otford then double back on ourselves so that'll clip a couple of miles. Works out 70 door to door for me too. We'll still come back through Otford so anyone who wants to jump on a Thameslink back to town can do so no problem, I imagine they'll be pretty deserted by then.

OK 7pm at West Wickham seems a consensus.

Selfishly Kenty as I missed out on the last off week excursion. Taking in the delights of Star, Ide and Bailey's hills followed by some lumps back to Otford.

Otford is the traditional meet point but if we're eschewing trains it may be easier/nicer to meet at West Wickham and take in some Featherbed/Beddlestead/Pilgrims on the way out? We'll come back through Otford on the way back anyway if anyone wants to get a train back into town. Open to suggestions either way.

After the raging successes of the season opener all eyes are on round 2...

Of all the Kentish offerings this route seems the most central start/finish so makes most sense for riding out and back, I've proposed a 7pm start as it's nice to get a bit more riding in daylight but open to discussions. Likewise I'm not sure I really want to mark my return to pub drinking with a pint of rhubarb bon bon flavoured ditch water at the 'spoons in Petts Wood but maybe we can get a beer somewhere around Bromley assuming we're all heading back that way for some A21 smashfestina?

Route is below, I'll be advocating for an ascent of Old Terry's Lodge Rd. rather than Exedown but for any masochists they can go for it and we can reconvene at the top for the fig roll party.

I'd love to make the ride out from Kingston but I fear I'm going to be cutting it a bit fine so will just see you at Effingham.

I seem to remember that the shell garage in Cobham is 24h but google/Shell is saying it shuts at 8 at the moment. I may stop on the way out and will ask when they shut if so.

@cgg sorry to hear about the knee, could bring the gears and take it easy or hang on for an Essex ride?

@Scrabble and @Ruserius should we aim for 7pm for a 7.30pm depart?
