Cheers for the reply, you were right they're 7900 not 6900. Was half asleep writing the post walking the dog. Thanks for the offer of the chainrings, I'll see what other suggestions pop up, but have a feeling I might just wait until the weather turns next year, when I've got a bit more cash and just get some blinging ass carbon rings.

Picked up a set of dura ace 7900 cranks arms off the t'ebay last night, sans chainrings. Cos I'm a tit I just assumed that my ultegra chainrings would fit. Woke up this morning and checked, and I was wrong. Dura ace being 130 bcd and my existing ultegra being compact and 110.
Shimanos 7900 chainrings, despite being 10 years old, are still ridiculously expensive. Are there any alternatives? I know any 130 bcd chainring will fit, but they've got that crank arm flowing into the chainring design, I'm half bothered about losing that, but can live with it if it saves me a bit of cash.
Anyone had a similar issue before? Ta!

Years ago I had to sell my Canondale Capo (the brushed silver version) and it was the one bike I wish I never let go of. Getting another has been an itch I've wanted to scratch for years, so just thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone has a line on a frame in either a 60 or 62? I probably couldn't stretch to having a full bike off someone right now, but would love to hear about any standalone frames going.
Ta, Ewan
Chainset sold.
