Just to snake my way into this thread, appreciate you're using GCI, but I'll be putting up an XL PX Tempest with Force 1 and a few upgrades update for sale in the next day or so, if that's any interest?

Would consider splitting (and dropping the price accordingly), if it's the tyres and rotors putting folk off.

Starting a new build and going back to rim brake, so these aren't needed any more. (Side note, if you have some deep, carbon rim brake wheels could do a swap?)

Comes with a Goodyear Eagle F1 on the front, and a Specialized SWorks Turbo on the rear, both 30mm and both have got tons and tons of life left in them.

Also comes with 160mm Shimano RT MT800 rotors and uses Reserve Filmore valves (which are game changers).

Really nice wheelset, spin freely and true. Some bite marks on freehub body, but the cassette slid straight off for these pics, no drama.

Thinking of giving photography a go and found a camera I like on eBay, but the shutter count is 0, despite it being an older model. It does look immaculate, and has all the original packaging, so it could genuinely have never been used, but seems a little too good to be true.

Is this something to worry about or be suspicious of?

This is kind of the point... began taking it all a bit too seriously and started killing riding for myself a bit. Always liked the look of single speed, the simple mechanical nature of it, and hoping it will force me to just slow down and cruise a bit.

Apologies for breaking up wheel swapping debate, but just converted the grav bike to SS for the rest of summer and it made me very happy.

Apologies for a question that's probably been asked a million million times before, but think I'm on the cusp of scratching an itch I've had for a long time and building up a fixed all road steamroller. But I've never ridden fixed before, so got no idea about gear ratios. I live in West Yorkshire, so some hills around, and some substantial hills if I want to seek them out, so not sure what I'd be looking at?

Also, will be running a front brake, and was wondering if anyone knew what the tyre clearance was like for the Tektro 559 or similar?

On that note, I may soon be after a big steamroller in a bigger size. I'm 6'3 so a 60? And may also be flogging an XL Planet X Tempest to fund the build. So feel free to slip right into my DMs.

Not sure if gravel has run it's course with me, so might be tempted to sell this on / swap it for a road / all road frame, curious what folk would value it at.

Planet X tempest frameset in XL. Used, around 4000 (mix of road and grav) miles, so some superficial blemishes, mainly from frame bags etc. but no scratches and dings. I would image all the rub marks would probably polish out.

I've booked a room for a couple of nights in one of the Premier Inns nearby.

Once I've transferred my entry I'll cancel my reservation there, meaning in theory there should be a room free. But don't think I can specifically transfer it to someone else.

Change in circumstances means I can't attend this event any more. Can't get a refund, my only options are to nominate another rider or defer to another event, and I'm not fussed for another event.
