Jumping on this one, I followed National Cycle Route 1 last month. Not quite as direct as Route 13.

171 km on day one and 187 km on day two. I think comparatively it's a quieter route, lots of sleepy villages and a bit of gravel/mud to test the track clearances. Would recommend.
