My significant other decided to have a little crash the other day.....

Now in need of some new forks that will take a 650C wheel. Im struggling to find anything suitable

looking for something roughly like this:
~34cm Brake Hole - Drop Out
100mm OLD

Found some cheap forks on ebay but the OLD is 95mm, wondering if i should take a chance and see if they will spring open a bit.

I bought this frame around 2 years ago from a chap on the forum. I never asked whether he knew what is was at the time (I am retarded), and sadly he doesn't seem to be active anymore. It's a long shot but can anyone point me in the right direction... it has lovely lugs.

Think I will be asking lots of questions on here over the next weeks. Am looking to get more into touring but wanted to maintain the simplicity of my build. I have ended up buying an S-RF3 hub and a Rigida DP18 Rim.... Haven't worked out my spoke length yet, best get reading on sheldon browns guide to work out what to measure.

interested in the s3x wheel, do you know the OLD of the hub? thanks.

Looking to build up a rear wheel with a sturmey archer hub (for longer distances/touring use), ideally I want the wheel to match my current set of track wheels from V-Sprint which have served me very well over the time I have had them.

If anyone has one they would like to sell please let me know. I have had a look online and I can't seem to find anywhere that sells them :(

edscoble how large is that libertas frame? Im attempting to build my partner a road bike at the moment and struggling to find anything as small as required. any advice?

I foolishly had the pair i wanted to use powder coated black before checking it all assembled. Its odd how the other threaded bit, the adjustable race, fits both pairs of forks. Its just looser on the chrome set, this makes me think the pitch of the thread is the same on each.

Im new to the forum and also bike fixing/maintenance so looking to learn as much as possible. I have searched the forum and google for the answer to my question but not had any luck working out what I need so any help with the following is much appreciated.

I am in the process of building up a single speed and have an old reynolds 531 frame, it came with two set of forks. The problem i'm having is that the headset lock nut that came with the frame only fits one set. I measured the outer diameter of the thread and one set is 25.4mm and the other is a little larger at 25.8mm. both have an inner diameter of 22.3mm. Can anyone help me identify what I need to fit these forks?

The Reynolds owner is indeed very happy! Had the frame back from the powder coaters this week. Looking to get it all assembled this weekend.
