I say the fit is very good, i wear S with every brand and it is a race cut.
All in all, in terms of the cut, feel and quality of the materials ( as far as i have worn it : once ) comparable to a tokyo fixed ( GSG), with different details like the sleeves which are basically a big band. for 70 euros, a slightly better deal imo. let's wait and see what they come up with later.
Oh and my girlfriend got a M woman jersey, similar dimensions to my S, but obviously a bit shorter and larger at the hips, tighter at the waist. -

i would suggest something that uses gore-tex, the stronger fabric, not the "paclite" as the friction with backpack straps will get water inside quicker.
Millet typically have mountaineering jackets with re-enforced shoulders.
the tougher the less breathable, but a lot of them have large zips under the armpits, etc.
you can find quite a lot of goretex licensed jackets directly on the goretex website for instance. -

cycling tommorow from Dieppe to Paris as soon as the day breaks.
cycling back to Dieppe on thursday (21st)to catch the 18.00 ferry

i did a La Rochelle to London via Santander ( same ferry, same kiddie pool ) in 9 days with my GF this summer. credit card touring though !
