It’s currently got the 10sp only freehub that Shimano ran for a few years, so all Shimano 10 sp cassettes (or certainly Ultegra/Dura Ace). Does have a proprietary lockring, which is supplied.

I can investigate whether I can swap out for a 9/10 speed if that’s a dealbreaker (which would then take an 11sp Shimano mtb cassette, I’ve used 11-34s on a few bikes).

If you wanted to take the absolute cheapest route to disc power… Switch out the fork for one with a disc mount and run it mullet with a disc front (ie a good cable disc)/ canti rear setup. If you’re anything like me it’s front for breaking and rear for speed modulation in any event.
Obviously it means a bit more effort to get a matching wheelset (I’d been planning something similar and was thinking carbon rims/dt swiss hubs so disc/rim effectively match) but much less faff then brazing tabs and rebuilding the entire bike.

Looking for a single or set of spacers for a Shimano CX-70 Cantilever brake. Spacer+bolt would be ideal, but would consider taking pads too (if available).

Appreciate the CX50 ones are available, but they look naff in comparison!

Ah, whoops, should’ve said.

Campag ultra torque bolts require some fairly punchy torque, can’t remember the precise number off top of my head.

Just the one socket set left at Lidl Richmond by the time I’d grabbed one. They also had what looked like a heavy duty torque wrench (up to 210nm) which I probably should’ve taken for cranks, but wussed out.

Wasn’t CSC one of the more reputable ebay shops folks had bought from? Can’t remember if it received an ‘on here’ recommendation or elsewhere.

Edit- that said, I expect the prices these days aren’t far off lightbicycle group deal, so why not just LB it!

Bit of a shame, whatever replaces that paint job/kit is going to have to work very hard to beat it.
Also tba while the existing paint may not be perfect, a modern job isn’t going to be as durable so likely you’ll end up with cosmetic defects a few years down the line in any event.

The super thin one? I use occasionally as a packable, emergency rain gilet. Or in variable weather on the off chance it gets colder than anticipated.

Any recommended sellers for chainrings? Looking for 104BCD, ideally narrow wide, in 40+ tooth counts.
Can see a retailer for ‘Snail’ rings on eBay, if anyone’s heard of those.
