That's just one paint chip on a used frame you pussy!
I admit that it wasn't packaged very well, but nothing bad happened to it.
One paint chip on a well used Brooklyn Gangsta is nothing to foam about.Avoid selling anything to this pedant if you can.

The frame and fork have some scratches on the paint, but no dents or other damage - see pictures for details.

The seat post is also scratched, mostly on the front - see picture for details. -
No old bikes, because no disc brakes.
No modern bikes, because no square taper BB's
So it's only compatible with new shitty bikes.I think, if instead of a BB, they supplied a shitty bike that is already fitted, that would be more practical. "A cargo bike, that can be converter to an ordinary bicycle"
-
I assumed that this was designed so anyone could install it themselves, but I was wrong.
That lock-ring on the bottom bracket confused me. I've installed many BB's and none of them protruded enough to screw a lock-ring on it. And most cheap BB's have a plastic left cup so...
And they forgot another limitation - only square taper BB is compatible with this, cause there's no space on other types to install this.
I would call this idea - irresponsible design "if it kind of works, it's good enough."
-
-
Then how is it attached to the bottom bracket then? I see that there's a kickstand which is attached to the frame and the cargo thing is attached to the kickstand.
But how is the kickstand attached to the bottom bracket. The typical solution is to clamp the kickstand on the chain stays, so I thought this was the case also. The forks don't support the weight, it just holds it in place and all the weight is transmitted to the bottom bracket.
-
I like how they hid the fork mounts behind some plywood, so no one could see how it's mounted. And I like how it can be mounted to most bikes as long as they have hydraulic disc brakes...
And I love the way the whole weight of everything is resting on the chain stays. I mean can you imagine what will happen to the chain stays if you put 160 kg on a narrow peace of metal resting on the chain stays? -

EU was and is in an economic crisis.
Since this morning, EU is also in a political crisis.
EU is an economical and a political union and all of that just wen't to shit, in a way.
Either Brussels gets its shit together or it's all going to even more shit and it'll take the UK with it, no doubt.
But I'm still hopeful
-
This referendum has little to do with UK and a lot with EU. The economic strategy of the EU is decided in the Euro Group which is not elected and can't be influenced by the UK because it's not part of the Euro Zone. The initial point of brexit was not to leave EU - it was supposed to be a trump card to start a process of reform. But after 3 years of failed negotiation, some politicians decided "fuck it, let's just try and leave and see what happens..." All of the scientific community (which isn't actualy scientific) says that this will result in an economic and a political crisis that most likely will tare the EU apart, but it's really difficult to know for sure. I would definitely stay, but I also can see some political power potential in leaving the EU to reform the EU.

Hi,
I'm having trouble identifying this frame. It was repainted before I bought it. A sticker on the head-tube said "Deschamps". Also there was a Reynolds 501 sticker on the front of the down-tube. The bottom bracket is English threaded. The seat post is most likely 26.6mm (I bought the bike without a seat post). The frame came with RX100 road group set, if that's relevant...After inspecting the paint job closely I found some spots of the original dark metallic red paint job (at least I think it was original), not covered with black plain paint and lacquer. One of those spots was around and under the Reynolds 501 sticker, so this might be a 501 frame.
The lugs are "BCM" as you can see in this photoMore large size photos here:https://www.flickr.com/photos/90381157@N03/sets/72157667355584233

I don't know what "3 massive chips" ma2med0z is talking about. The buyer was able to highlight only one small chip in his photos and other damaged he said is new can be found in my photos of the frame. I trusted his description of how the frame was packed when it arrived and I think it might have happened while shipping but the're no way to be sure. I take responsibility if it was packaged poorly, but I was confident it was packaged well when I posted.
I believe the buyer thinks he overplayed and wants to get a compensation, but he's not getting it because he was not able to show the "massive" damage that he is talking about. The buyers behavior is not fair and is mostly delusional and over reacting to something that only the buyer can see.
This will not affect the buyer, but after all this slander it may be more difficult for me to sell the frame again on this forum - that's not very fair. The seller could've just sold it for a bit more £ than he payed and saved everybody a lot of time.
