If your shifters are indexed you should be able to shift over the entire cassette in one action. Did you try bar-end shifters ? Maybe more comfy.

Nice frame but I don't understand your gearing choice, IMHO you won't go far (high) in the forest with a 34x25, pushing the pedal too hard in a climb the rear wheel will loose adherence. And why sticking to 8s ? You could have 10 for a few bucks more and a smaller steps in your gearing, which could be pretty sweet when the bike is loaded.

I'm selling it, but I'm in France, don't know about the shipping costs.

La bicyclette is the basement for the french fixed gear (pignonfixe.com) forumers. You might meet some of them in the late afternoon for beers, talk an sometimes nice bikes. There're some gorgeous ones inside the shop.

Cyclope was the shop of the early fixed gear hype.

Les petits vélos de Maurice is well known for low-cost bicycle repairs, the bikes they sell are not worth it if it's why you should want to go there.

Bicloune showroom is a kind of museum, beautiful bikes for unaffordable prices.
In the workshop you might find some interesting spare parts, but be careful with the opening hours, they're quite special.

Both "l'esperance" and "black bike with the guy who says fuck" seem to have campagnolo ergopower shifters with sram derailleur, do you have more information about this combo ? Maybe I'll consider it for my crossbike.

Wahou the Serotta is almost done ! Finally I opted for shimano (105 brifters, DA derailleurs) and sold the sram red groupset. 90° salsa stem + soma hwy one compact handlebars, looking for the same setup for the gunnar.

Gunnar will be campy geared finally
