EEl, can you read mate? i kind of mentioned twice that its sold.
and onelesscardigan, yeah thats me, someone trynna sell my bike elsewhere for 2200, i think this is all just a big mess, pretty funny though. he also had a .co.uk address according to mark so not sure what was going on and to be quite honest, as confused as i am about the whole situation and all the un necessary grief ive got, i dont really care, ive a bundle of cash sitting in my room now so all's well that ends well -

hi gin23deluxe, excuse me now but youve got me all wrong. the other site is irish, i was dealing in euro, here you're dealing in pounds. i didnt tell you anything apart from that your offer of €1250 was too low? i couldnt even pm you because you were a new member. also, i use the same name on the other site so not sure what you mean? ive never heard of maestros, theres no maestros shop in ireland and ive never mentioned the figure £2500 for the bike.. regardless of what you think, im owed an apology because ive done absolutely NOTHING wrong and from what i can gather you're confusing me with someone else. It is the same bike as in the pictures ive never denied that, point being i got lorenzo to end bid and said id take it off him.
Thankfully the guy i sold it to was really happy and at least he knew he was getting a bargain, seeming as the framesets sell for €1600 in the same model with a touch orange on buy it now on ebay. its pretty fair to say the least.
Bike sold anyway, please remove or lock thread.
whats the easiest way to get banned from this site lads? my head is fried

hi,
Bike in immaculate cond.Has 1 light scuff on top tube where 'extreme c' is written
Top tube c-c : 55cm
Seat tube c-t: 52cm
Frame started 2006 with Rabobank using them for a hill climb tt, the bike was loved and used by all Colnago pro teams the following year. Sub Kilo frame in size medium and stiffer that c50.
Full dura ace 7800 to match the era.
ITM carbon bars and 120mm stem.
Colnago carbon seatpost.
Selle italia slr carbon rail saddle 125gram
Omega Mach1 wheelset. This is a training wheelset. Hubs are really good but wheels do add weight to the bike. Perfect if you have a race wheelset you only use once every so often or if you're not too bothered about weight looking for a reliable pair of wheels.
Could also sell with custom built zipp 101s or equally could sell without wheels
€1600 posted ireland and uk for full bike ex pedals. These Framesets sell handily enough for over €1k on ebay in this sort of condition so i think the price is more than fair. It'll cost me an extra €35 to post to most other destinations worldwide.

Anymore questions just ask, no swaps.

well thats you'd imagine. i wouldnt say head tube length would be listed as standard though, nor meeting points of tubes/lugs close up nor a serial number but i'll get them for you no problem.
When you say the buyer has no protection, i'd say thats pretty debatable, paypal often covered my ass.
I never said it was a big ask for these things, just want to know you're at least semi-genuine.
I'll get them when i get in home later
-
some of those questions already answered above dave.
I just want to know you at least have interest in the frame to some degree before i start doing all this stuff.
I've had guys waste hours of my time before getting things like the wheel base to turn around and offer me 50 quid for a frame listed at 400, i mean, get real :)
Will sort out tomorrow if you're interested though, even w/o seatpost whatever be the reason!

it wouldnt 'have to go' for a respray. it could go for a respray if you wish but i thought it was different in a nice way.
rear spacing is definitely 130.
Rear brake bridge is drilled for allen key bolt..
will get seat tube c-c tomorrow, up the walls at the minute. I'm quite literally just shy of 6 ft and size is grand with smaller stem.

Raleigh dyna tech titanium road bike frame. suitable for a classic build, a fixie or even for new parts would suit it for an all around or winter build
The frame is in great condition. no real scuffs or chips, only one small dent in the rear stay, barely noticeable and light scratching near bottom of seatube which can be felt but has not broken the colour(really not worth talking about)(see photobucket link for small dent)
it is titanium tubed with reynolds 753 lugs.
the frame is seriously stiff but also comfortable.
The décor of the frame is like no other, it is the original spray but is extremely rare. this paint scheme in this condition is something you get to chance to ever buy only once.
For the price i am including the frame, the fork, the headset and the seatpost.
the top tube c-c is 58cm.
any more questions just ask
see here for more pics:

£280 incl. shipping couriered and Paypal fee for the lot.
No offers please.I'm in Cork, Ireland myself so chances are collection wont be on the cards for any of you

hi lads said id drop a quick one here. I'm new to forum but i thing this topic suits me down to ground. I'm 19 and have worked in bike shops/ been selling bikes now for 4 years. Colnago's always caught my eye- unlike most of my generation i really appreciate the older classics, not as far back as the mexico but more so around my birth time (master olympic era). Have owned a master, 4 dreams, a c95, 2 c50's at some point in time (not all together) and always have at least 1 in the shed. have no interest in the new stuff, basically since alex, ernesto's son took over. When they go right, they go right like no other brand. C50's still a favourite. From working all day with bikes i hate the shite talkers who talk about how some frames offer more comfort but by god do i feel comfortable on a c50 even with a superleggera saddle!

it aint all that old either so. would be nice build for 250 quid. gotta love mechanic-ing. the just over the limit of 0.75 wear chain and cassette changes are an out and out win :)
welding and tubes look good, and like you say about DA h/set you aint gonna put in it on scrap.
lots of these frames were the likes of thron tubing, which comes up relatively lightweight for small cost, colnago even used it on some frames, c95 comes to mind..
-
plenty of those guys floating about, especially the more classic ones where it was easier to copy the paint scheme like colnago supers and mexicos. died out for the most part in the dream era when paint work was hard and for a cheapy frames wasnt worth the time. im not sure where they come from for the most part but i recall somebody telling me that a lot were from asia even though that paint scheme looks too detailed to be chinese factory replica work. for the most part badly replicated however. not even sure what thats replicating but head badge from what i can see looks wrong in size and the club on the down tube which shouldnt be there, if replicating a master would have chromed lugs...
should still look pretty nice built up if all considering you didnt pay much for it. personally i would go with down tube shifters. the way i see it down tube shifters look retro whereas the likes of st2300's look like muck :)
