That's just a bog standard KG186 with track ends. Not all that rare at all really.
Can find one most every week or the better KG196 for a lot less dorrah.

No youre right - it's all out speed weaponry ;) it will fit any normal round seat tube 27.2 or 25mm though.

Definitely 144bcd, just measured against another 1982 Record chainring . If it was newer it would say AS or AC on the chainring.definitely track , the NOS chainring is worth 3/4 what I'm asking for the whole set up.

Brand new Record 144bcd 53T ring, the cranks only used indoors on the track.
