By popular demand, a few photos of the saddles...
@McShug - hopefully you can see the marks. Small dabs of glue on them (dry!) to stop them getting worse through use.
@iviviv - Zoncolan photos...
@plexarice - Just weighed one of the tyres, came in at 570g. Looks like they're the Aramid bead ones :http://www.wtb.com/products/nano

@McShug Yeah, will take some photos tonight.
@plexarice Think they're the standard wired version. Will weigh up tonight and let you know. -
@sykodrama They're wired I'm afraid. Happy to fold them up and post them, but it'll probably cost little more to Norway.

@andyp - I've got Hylex on my ride, and have been using them pretty much daily.
Pros: Good power and modulation, much better than the cable discs I was using before.
Cons: The levers need to be regularly adjusted (there's an allen key bolt) or they rattle, but it's a ~30s job -

So, went ahead and checked it out. In between reserving it and going to see it the price had gone back up to £800. So, If I wanted it at the £680 I had to buy it then and there... which I did.
The paintscheme looks pretty good in the flesh and seems durable (none of the 'flecks' came off with the crappy Evans stickers). The finishing kit is a bit cheap feeling, saddle, stem and bars will be changed in short order, but otherwise the bike is pretty nice. My small version came in at 10kg off the shop floor (incl big plastic pedals), once it has proper pedals and the reflectors and gubbins are removed it'll be about 9.5kg. If weight is your thing, it would be pretty easy to get it under 9kg at a minimum of cost.
Haven't had a long ride as my knee's busted, but the short 'round the carpark' ride felt nippy and responsive. Brakes are great. Also it comes with gear cable mounts and a derailleur hanger spare in case you want to run it geared in future.
Overall, happy with the purchase!

I'm looking getting the Ultimate Al SLX, and have the same issue. Had a quick web chat with Canyon earlier, they offer a low stack option for about £17, just need to email them and they'll sort you out.
It's finding a 1 1/4 stem in -17 that seems the hardest bit...
