I saw this Seamaster 1948 in a display case yesterday, really liked it overall..
Apparently a small second version is also available..
Probably not a hit seller because it’s a still sitting in the case despite the Limited Edition (1948 pièces, released in 2020)
@ejay2.0 are you familiar with those ? Opinion on it ?

@PawG @TRA thanks mates, the blue flake is a good one, loving every aspect of it..
The only thing is, even if it has been pressure tested and joints replaced, I don’t wanna risk a water damage (no sea bath etc) because replacement parts for dial/hands are hard to find and expensive..
So doesn’t really work as a one watch for me, where any 5/6 digit sub can do the job..
As an everyday/noneedtocare piece I use a blue BB58 which is a hell of watche IMO..
Few close up
So doesn’t work

@bobble thanks, had it for almost 2 year now, it’s a bit beat up but lot of character
Your AirK is quite nice, very clean, for a cool/affordable 34mm you should look at 6426 references. Very thin, hand wound, 34mm, slipper..

@Sumo well, I’ve took the risk, we will see..

@PawG stunning one, very cool looking piece..
Heading to South Africa for two weeks, with a few days stop in Istanbul on the return, not sure which watch travel with..
Any recommandation for vintage watches shopping in Cape Town or Istanbul ?

More info on this please !!! Pics ?
This one is for sale near me, late ref 94010 with lollipop hands on ronds markers (only produced for 2 year), delivered to the MN in 83..
Didn’t appears in ledgers books but serial number is 3 digit apart from one who appears, this batch was delivered to Commando Hubert
The only annoying thing is the price..
So clean and simple, vintage milgauss vibe..
