2nd'd.
I've just binned a pair of their winter bibs (with pad) after literally wearing through them in the seat area. They've done a lot of road and off road winter miles over about 5 seasons. New pair already on order. Compared to a cheap pair of DHB tights I picked up for emergency wear, they're in another league. -

Fair comment on Conti's. I've used their sprinter tubs in the past but found they suffered from a bit of wheel hop, possibly due to the overlap on the canvas base.
Im still torn between tub and clincher though. I'm happy gluing tubs, I do for my TT bikes. I wont be racing on the track, just SQT and club sessions.

Quick question.
New track bike being built, I've used tubs and clinchers in the past but wondered what people's preference would be? I found little difference between them. I'm just thinking of affordability more than anything in the current climate.
Wheels will be 25mm width either way probably. Would Conti GP5000 clincher be a suitable choice?
Track will be Derby BTW. -

@Lima, did you manage to get this clearance issue sorted? I'm putting together an almost identical build.

Yes the drilled dropouts were a common feature of this frame builder, he often drilled the BB lug as well.
I'm actually unsure if the cups are Campag. They don't seem to be stamped as such.
I modified Swisstop yellows to fit the AX calipers to give better braking and protect the anodising on the rims a bit. The yellow pads are pretty soft. The original Shimano pads are very hard and abrasive. -

Has anyone out there had a track axle made for a Zipp Sub9? I believe that disc runs the Zipp 182 (silver) hub.
The axle kits are proper rare.
If I could get the dimensions I can get one made.
Cheers.
