I was time trailing in the 80,s on a Raleigh 753 ex team bike, running Campy Nuovo. It was beautiful I just loved looking at it, Italian style what,s not to love. Anyway a guy from my club turned up with a box and a huge smile on his face. Called us over and opened the box, I think most of dribbled at the contents Ofmega Mistral chainset, (still gets me moist today)
It really was a thing of beauty in fact at the time none of us had seen anything quite like it. I had a bad car crash a little while later fractured C3 and C4. Spent nearly 6 months in a body frame so that finished the time trailing and I never got to own the chainset.
Until now that is, found on t'bay last night and purchased, I think this chainset will look great against the frame. Was thinking about selling until I found the Ofmega, going to keep and build the rest up the same now.

Just found this as well so possibly this was one of these frames, so now will build with 7400 not 7700

Lo Pro,s it seems are like busses nothing for ages then a whole bunch turn up. Anyway saw this bike on t'bay could not find out what it was. Spoke to the owner who gave me some info had a scout round the web and picked up yesterday.
It is a Koga Miyata Record Pro made for Team Tulip 1992 TDF it seems. This looks to be a team bike as it has a number hanger, I may be wrong but info is scarce. I have only seen three others one in steel and the others in Alu, like this one.
It had been run as a fixie and in all fairness did not look good but stripped looks like it will make an interesting project. The rear 120mm wheel had been put in the 130mm rear and squeezed together, not good. Had the frame checked today and fortunately no problems with that.
I don't usually go in for Alu bikes but liked the paint and the fact it is an ex team bike so some pics.
So Dura ace 7700 I guess and maybe disc wheels will have to see, this frame looks to have a very relaxed front end. I will put up a pic of this as a team build.
