More shower questions, apologies.
I'm fitting this unit and the inlets won't seal properly. I've boshed a load of water hawk in there which improved it but hasn't fixed it. Everywhere I've read said that should fix it.
The washer can't sit under the threads like you see on a flexi hose etc, the inlet is like a half-moon going into the unit; it has to go over the threads. I spent far too long trying all the different washers available at Screwfix to no avail, they're all sized at OD.
It's two G¾" inlets. The G½" outlet seems to be fine. -
Get a wheel extender for shopping (if you have a rack you can even get 2 for extra stability).
I find stairs are much easier if you just lift the bike and hook the saddle over your shoulder. You can hold the fold retention clip as you lift so the rear triangle folds, if it's a crowded station or whatever.

Sorry, it's easy to forget how confusing things can be when you're not immersed in the system.
Plastics surgery is (in simple terms) reconstructive surgery, including grafting for burns. Obviously this isn't severe enough for that, but it often falls under their. Hospital policy varies site by site depending on availability of services but worth asking if he would meet criteria for review there.
Not to be confused with cosmetic surgery (often called plastic surgery by the public) which is performed by plastic surgeons, but only forms part of the specialty.

I suspect that will not have fully healed by 11 days and a public pool wouldn't be my number one place for a scabby wound.
Is he being offered a Plastics review? When I was on my Plastics rotation it was the hospital policy that all paeds burns were followed up in their clinic - your hospital's policy may be different obviously but worth checking.
It will depend on your risk aversion/level of pragmatism as to whether you want to rearrange the swim course. They may not even allow children with healing wounds?
You can get waterproof dressings and a non-adherent intermediate layer which will stop the scab sticking. Check waterproofness daily and reapply if necessary.
Realistically the answer you'll get over the internet will likely be more cautious or less definitive than one in a F2F clinic, as being unable to assess the patient and healing trajectory is a severely limiting factor (as with all questions in the thread).

Metronidazole and its ilk will cause a disulfiram-alcohol reaction. All other antibiotics are basically fine.
That being said Doxycycline is a pretty grim antibiotic regardless and can cause a nasty oesophagitis @Rodolfo if you develop new heartburn or difficulty swallowing then go back to your doctor.

As an aside from the fuck the Tories chat, which I am enjoying, let me regale you with a tale of voting tomfoolery.
Our neighbour went to vote this morning, no trouble. His son went to the polling station a couple hours ago, only to be turned away at the desk as his name had already been crossed off, obviously in error from when his dad went earlier.
He called his dad who walked down to try and sort it out. Son was not allowed in as he had already been crossed through. Father was not allowed in even though not crossed though, because they recognised him [small town]. So the son has been denied his right to vote.
We await updates from them! -

No olive on the ¾" inlet. That's definitely the one that's leaking.
100% I've crushed the olive in the 15mm joint but it's not the problem. Just went a bit overkill, some of life's stresses got to me a bit yesterday!
I'll remake the relevant 15mm copper section then when I reassemble I'm going to go absolutely ham with the PTFE tape.
