Didn't really sound like this but worth a check. I think the way the wheel is laced this might be unlikely.

Interesting, I'll try taking it off and putting it back on, perhaps it's got just that bit too tight with the cold somehow.

My front wheel is squeaking while revolving. The squeak is not from tyre or brakes and certainly seems to be coming from the hub. Wheel is still turning smoothly.
How best to solve the squeak?

Experience of visiting the GP.

I've slight knee pain around the patella, top and inside area, for a couple of weeks I've rested the leg but it's still there somewhat.
Has anyone positive experience of asking their GP to look at knee pain? Got the feeling I'll go there and they'll type what I describe into Google and tell me to rest it.

Appreciate the direction advice and concerns, but as Howard says, clockwise or anti depends on the side you're looking from. Simply stated, I am, attempting, to turn it toward the back of the bike, ie in the motion the wheels would be going backward. I've got the wrench on the inside and have stood either side of bike trying to move it toward the back.

Seeing if I can locate a cooking blowtorch next...
